Sharrada Segeran
Sharrada Segeran is the co-founder and Director of Mind Matters Network, a mental health organisation for youth guided by professionals. Sharrada Segeran, 22, is a third-year medical student passionate about driving the mental health agenda to the forefront of the country, focusing on youth mental health and improving the mental health policy in Malaysia. She is the Chair of the NCMW Youth Task Force and is the youngest board member in the National Coalition of Mental Wellbeing. She co-authored the Handbook on Youth Mental Health in Malaysia. Segeran actively speaks on youth mental health as a guest speaker in schools and national events. She has represented Malaysia in the ECOSOC Youth Forum and Global Youth Summit. Sharrada holds a degree in Medical Sciences (Hons) and is currently awaiting transfer to Australia to complete her clinical training for MBBS.
