Sadat Mohammed Shahid
Sadat started his professional career in a local software firm before joining Unilever in 2008 as an IT Analyst. He has been through several cross-functional stints by partnering with Finance, HR, Sales and Marketing departments.
Sadat took up the regional role of managing Salesforce technology of South East Asian countries based out of Malaysia. He then joined Danone to lead the Salesforce tech team of India and SouthEast Asia in 2015.
Later, he joined Unilever Bangladesh as the Head of IT in 2018. He has led some of Unilever’s global digital transformational programs in multiple geographies and is currently steering the Bangladesh tech team to greater heights in the era of industry 4.0.
Sadat earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Warangal, India. He later completed his MBA from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Sadat is a tech enthusiast and is passionate about leveraging new technological innovations into business value addition and growth. His current area of focus is data science.
