Head of Marketing, The Daily Star

With over 14 years of experience across variegated fields, Tajdin is currently the Head of Marketing at The Daily Star, the leading English daily in Bangladesh. Apart from being a distinctive leader who has been highlighted in INMA - International News Media Association, GXpress - An Australian Tech Newspaper, Global Ties U.S., etc., Tajdin is also an adjunct faculty member at Daffodil International University.

He co-founded Torun Digital - a content platform, and Zengage - a skill development center, and he is one of the initiators of Mission Save Bangladesh, an initiative to support people during COVID-19. Tajdin is the former president of BRAC University Alumni Association, who was awarded jointly by World Association of Newspapers & New Publishers and Google for Digital Media projects. In addition to those, he is an alumni member of the Exchange Programs (IVLP) U.S. Department of State.

Before joining the Daily Star, he worked for DHL, Chevron, Robi Axiata and BAT. He completed his Executive MBA from IBA, University of Dhaka. He is also the co-author of The Transition, a self-development book for the youth.

He has also been invited as a speaker to speak at different international conferences in Chennai, Mumbai, Malaysia and Bali along with BBC UK, Quint and other renowned brands.

He attended a number of training programs and workshops in the USA, Hong Kong, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, Bangkok, India and Sri Lanka.

Tajdin is also a successful Google Squared (The digital marketing leadership course developed with Google) online graduate. He is also passionate about writing articles in his blog (www.tajdinhassan.com) and sharing those on various social networking sites.
